A Night in Brooklyn

Clover Club

My visiting friend had a friend in Brooklyn to catch up with and so off we went to experience some of the best Carroll Gardens has to offer. We started the night at Clover Club which I was instantly smitten by. Stepping through the door was like stepping back in time. I loved their dedication to classic cocktails and was tickled pink by the menu.

Then we decided some food was in order so we grabbed a bottle of wine and headed over to  Zaytoons for some Middle Eastern fare. We were still full from our late lunch at Sarge's so we ordered an appetizer platter full of hummus, grape leaves, tabouleh, and cucumber yogurt. Perfect!

We still weren't ready to end the night so we headed down the street to Brooklyn Social and had another round of skillfully prepared cocktails in yet another bar which took us back in time. They had a great back patio which would have been perfect, but it was still all wet from showers earlier in the day. But if the weather permits, be sure to head to the back to check it out.

Each of these felt like a hidden gem, yet they were all on the same block. I definitely see the charm and appeal of Brooklyn and am excited to explore it even further!
