Quick Stop to Chop-Shop

Chop-Shop Front
Decided to finally check out Chelsea newcomer Chop -- Shop tonight. We're pretty excited to have this new little chic asian joint in the 'hood.

Chop--Shop Menu

Chop-Shop Garden
It was a beautiful night, so we decided to take advantage of the little warm whether we probably have left and eat out in their back garden. I enjoyed the simple, modern, minimalistic decor.

Pork Belly Bun
We started with the pork belly buns which were quite good. Definitely not Momofuku good, but considering the proximity and lack of wait time, definitely a solid bun.

Pork Dumplings
We also got an order of the fried pork dumplings. Good, but a little oily for me.

Spicy Cold Sesame Noodles

For our main we split an order of the cold sesame noodles. Very nice.

Nothing particularly excited us, but overall, Chop-Shop is a nice solid addition to the block.

Update: I returned for lunch with co-workers on 10/3 and found the service to be a bit lacking. They completely forgot one of our party's dishes and didn't realize it for a while. It also took us a while to get some water refilled. They seemed to be understaffed as the guys were running around frantically, dripping sweat.
