Casing Stickys Finger Joint

Sticky's Finger Joint

We were having a pretty killer night that included drinks from Angel's Share followed by another round at Wise Men and needed something substantial in our bellies before we headed home. Although our night started out with lobster rolls from Luke's and an arepa from Caracas Arepa Bar To Go, that was many long hours ago. We always jump at the chance to take a stroll through Washington Square Park, so Sticky's Finger Joint was the perfect place to make our pit stop.

The Mr started talking to a guy about his bike and he asked for a recommendation. He suggsted the Poppers so we got an order of that. When it came to picking some fingers, I got overly ambitious and suggested we get one of each. Why did I think this was a good idea?

  1. It's been a long time since I've had a chicken tender and I totally misjudged their size thinking they were just slightly bigger than chicken nuggets.
  2. I didn't realize how expensive they were. I was expecting them to be $1-2 each, not more like $4-5 each.
  3. Did you see the part about all the drinks at Angel's Share & Wise Men??

So yeah, that happened and here they are in all of their glory:

Sticky's Finger Joint: All the tenders!
Top Row, Left to Right: Fire Flame Curry, General Sticky Tso, Buffalo Balsamic Maple, Bada Bing, Fiesta
Bottom Row, Left to Right: Vampire Killer, Poppers, Salted Caramel, Wasabi

Our favorites were: Fire Flame Curry, Bada Bing, Vampire Killer, Salted Caramel. The poppers were pretty bland on their own, but since the tenders had a ton of sauce, they worked well to make mini versions of our favorites. This place is pretty much perfect for a late night junk food craving.
