Terri-bly Good!

I was having one of those SeamlessWeb.com moments while I was searching for dinner where everything sounded good, but I was overwhelmed by the sheer volume of choice. Did I want Indian? Italian? Mediterranean? Sometimes too many options is a bad thing.

Unexpectedly, it was a little Vegan/Vegetarian sandwich shop that wound up catching my eye called Terri Vegetarian. Something about a highly user rated vegan Meatball Sub really piqued my curiosity. I got an order of that for The Mr and a Roasted Vegetable wrap for myself. I was also pretty captivated by the sides, so much so that I got three: raw kale chips, bean salad, and quinoa salad.

The sandwiches were incredible! The Mr was incredibly happy with the Meatball Sub and barely seemed to even notice that it was vegan as he wolfed it down...actually now that I think about it, I should ask him if he did know? (Update: He didn't!) The Kale Chips tasted so much better than the ones I make at home, but were just as fresh. The Quinoa Salad featured lemon, agave, pineapple, orange, cucumber, walnuts, cranberries and other spices that made it so refreshing and sweet that I ate it as my dessert. The bean salad was a mix of chickpeas, kidney beans, black eyed peas, a few other varieties of beans, corn, peas, red onions, agave and a spicy-sweet fat-free dressing that was just an incredible burst of flavor. Talk about a protein rich meal!

Although this was a delivery order, I do remember passing by this place and recall it being a cute, bright, and clean sandwich counter with tables. Terri Vegetarian is out to prove that vegetarian/vegan food can be just as exciting and flavorful as it's animal product counterparts. And while we may not be vegetarians ourselves, we are sure to order from them again soon.
