All Hail the Queen of Sheba

Queen of Sheba
A New Year, A New Day and my out of town guests and I were looking for a good place to fill up our bellies and recover from a festive New Year's Eve. We were in the mood for something spicy, warm, and filling so I suggested Ethiopian food and was met with enthusiasm from my friends. I did a little internetting around and Queen of Sheba came out ahead as the people's favorite, so we loaded up into a cab and headed up 10th Ave.
We started out with the Ethopian version of samosas filled with lentil. A perfect start to our meal:

We ordered the sampler platter and then let our waitress pick another two dishes to add to it since she said it wouldn't quite be enough food. She steered us in the right direction- we enjoyed everything immensely and it was the perfect amount for the three of us.

After
I've only had Ethopian once before at a restaurant in Boulder, CO, so I don't have much to compare it to. However, that said, this was wooooorlds better than that. The injera was soft and sourdoughy, but without being too tart. I honestly couldn't pick a favorite dish and just kept sampling them all over and over. I will definitely be coming back here for more and just noticed that they deliver!
